On August 22, 2021, I was blessed by the congregation of First & Central Presbyterian Church in an emotional service. Reverend Getman invited me to the baptismal font – the very spot where I was baptized as an infant and confirmed as a teenager. I scanned the sanctuary and recognized so many people who have nurtured me, prayed for me, and now sponsored my year of service. I will be forever grateful for their generosity! I grew up in this church and today I feel like I have come full circle as I am sent out into the world.
